Restoration Place Holiday Service Schedule

Both Christmas day and New Years Day fall on Sunday this year.  We want you to be able to enjoy Christmas and New Years Day with your families.  Therefore, we have altered our Weekend Worship Schedule for the next two weeks in order to accommodate the holiday season. 

Rather than our usual Sunday worship schedule, we will be meeting for one service only on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve at 10 am.  Please mark your calendars now and plan to be with us for these two special services:

Christmas Eve Service:

Saturday, December 24th @ 10 am

New Years Eve Service:

Saturday, December 31st @ 10 am

Restoration Place Tallahassee

Property Acquisition

Dr. Richard N. Ledford II is pleased to announce that Restoration Place Tallahassee has entered into a purchasing agreement with Abundant Life Fellowship for acquisition of the building and property.

Restoration Place and Abundant Life have been sharing the facility since May 2011.  Property Closing is set for September 22, 2011.  After closing, Abundant Life will have 30 days to move. During the transition period, they will continue with their current service schedule as will Restoration Place.

On October 24, 2011, Restoration Place will assume full use of the building and facilities and service times will change according to the schedule below.

Beginning October 30th Sunday Service Times will be 9:30 am and 11:30 am.

Beginning November 2nd Mid-Week Service will shift to Wednesday at 7 pm.

These are exciting times at Restoration Place.  We now have a church home that we can utilize for the next season of our growth.  We look forward to developing our current ministries further and launching new ministries in the coming months.

About the LaFlora’s

Stephen and Woola “Candy” LaFlora have ministered in worship music and in the word of God worldwide for over 20 years. Their beautiful and powerful music ushers in the presence of God in a remarkable way—changing lives, healing hearts, and restoring peace.

The LaFlora’s have served in worship ministry with Christian leaders such as Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyer, Kenneth Hagin, Darlene Zschech & Hillsong, Delirious, and others. They have ministered on Trinity Broadcasting Network and traveled across the world to India, Ireland, England, Australia, and South Africa reaching millions with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music and word. Stephen and Candy have numerous recordings including Ministering to the Lord with the song “Jesus Gave” which topped the charts all across the United States.

CANDY’S LATEST RELEASE “HE’S BEEN FAITHFUL”

They are also writers for Rick Renner Ministries magazine “IMPART” with articles pertaining to music ministry.

Stephen LaFlora is a gifted composer and pianist with amazing versatility that enabled him to compose an Emmy award wining score for NBC. Stephen’s first release, a completely original project entitled Sounds of Healing, is a soothing instrumental CD composed while sitting at the piano. He is a graduate of Northwestern University School Music and a 1990 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center. Stephen also served in the past as musical director for the music group Committed.

Woola LaFlora, (pronounced Oo-la) also known as “Candy”, was also a former member of the gospel group Committed and has served as a studio vocalist for music artists including Daniebelle Hall, Bassist Michael Manson and Reverend Keith Moore. In addition, her powerful voice has enabled her to sing for national advertising clients such as 7-Up and Sears. Stephen and Candy are 1990 graduates of Rhema Bible Training Center.

In Loving Memory…

Pastor Kenny Walker

This morning, a dear friend of mine, Pastor Kenny Walker, went home to be with the Lord.  Kenny and his family served as Pastors of Trinity Assembly of God here in Tallahassee.

Kenny Walker was an amazing man of God.  Having known Kenny for the last 10 years I have watched him be a loving husband, devoted father and an awesome pastor.  Despite his physical battles never once did I ever hear Kenny complain but he continuously was praising and thanking God for his goodness.

Untold thousands of lives have been touched by the ministry of the Walker family.  Our prayers and love go out to Linda, Bo, Zach, and the entire family. Today, heaven received one of God’s great generals.

Kenny, you will never be forgotten and one day we will meet again on the other side of the Jordan.
