Daniel Fast Testimonies
DANIEL FAST TESTIMONIES
When we began our 21 day Daniel fast, Dr. Ledford shared the Scripture in Daniel 10 which says after Daniel had fasted and prayed for 21 days, he received the answer to his prayer. Specifically the Scriptures state: “…on the 24th day of the first month…” We, Restoration Place members, began our fast on January 2nd, and ended on January 23rd. The 24th day of the first month (January 24th) was a monumental day in the lives of Restoration Place family members. During our fast, many of our church body received answers to prayers, and blessings from God. Here are just a few:
HEALING
Physical Healing
“Robin”, a faithful member of Restoration Place Tallahassee, received a diagnosis from her physicians at the beginning of the year that she only had six months to live. She had cancer, and her vision was failing because a tumor was interfering with the proper functioning of her eyes. Dr. Ledford and the prayer ministers of Restoration Place laid hands on her on a Thursday night. Dr. Ledford declared that the primary thing we, as a church body, were fasting for this year was for Robin’s complete healing and recovery. During our fast, Robin returned to the doctor, and after receiving her test results the doctor reports there are NO CANCER cells in her body! Her vision is being restored and she is healed!!!
Robin is the 8th person miraculously healed of cancer since RPT launched in May of 2010. Word has started to spread and last week, a man with lung cancer, drove all the way from Lake City to receive prayer for his healing. RPT is a CANCER FREE ZONE.
On Saturday, our own Pastor Michael Smith, received word that a close family member in South Carolina was found unconscious in her vehicle and had been placed on life support. He and Dr. Ledford prayed for her via phone and on Sunday, she was taken off of life support and doing better!!! God’s healing power is not bound by space or time!!
Business Growth
For the past several years, RPT member, “Warren” has been believing God to transition his mobile car wash business to a physical location near the state Capital in Tallahassee. During our fast, Warren found a location, God gave him favor with the owner of the building and on January 24th, he moved in to his new building. But that’s not all, when Warren arrived on Monday, January 24th to move in, the owner, was moved by the Holy Spirit to give him twice the space for the same price!! Businesses are being blessed at RPT!!
Dreams Fulfilled
For the past ten years, “Stan” has owned his own painting business. He has been faithful working in the business God blessed him with, but had a long time dream to own his own seafood wholesale business. Stan described this dream as being so vivid that he would wake up in the middle of the night smelling the inside of a seafood delivery truck. During our fast, Stan was presented with the opportunity to buy a seafood wholesale business that is already established in this region. On Monday, January 24th Stan assumed ownership of a seafood wholesale business. While breaking the fast on Sunday evening, with his RPT family, Stan received a business lead for his new company regarding a HUGE client with potential for multiple large vendors in the federal sector. Dreams are being fulfilled at RPT!!!
Jobs and Promotions
Our Youth Pastor, Shannon Butler, has been faithful and believing God for increase. During the fast, Shannon was notified by his State of Florida employer that he had been selected for a promotion and a pay raise. Both effective on January 24th. Favor is being poured out on RPT members!!!
“Darryl” has been working in his state job and serving faithfully in the ministry. He had promoted as far as he could go in his current job and was looking for God to open a door for him to transfer into a position that would allow him opportunity for professional growth and future promotion. During our fast, Darryl was notified that he was being given a job in another area of his department that would not only position him for future advancement, but would also provide him with the opportunity for pay increases. God is answering prayer at RPT!!!
“David” recently moved to Tallahassee for a job opportunity. He found RPT via the internet and after visiting, decided to make it his church home. His wife, Gail, remained in Colorado until she could find a job to relocate to Tallahassee to be with him. This past week, David notified Dr. Ledford via email that his wife had gotten a job offer in Tallahassee and that he was headed back to Colorado to get her and bring her back. David and Gail are excited to begin their new life in Tallahassee as members of our RPT family! God is meeting needs at RPT!!!
Honor & Recognition
“Rosalyn” faithfully serves in the helps ministries of Restoration Place. She is also a volunteer in the Leon County School Systems. On January 24th, she was notified that she was being honored as the Leon County Schools Volunteer of the Year!
Homes & Land
“Rhonda” a faithful member of Restoration Place and local business owner, had been living in a small apartment. Recently, some “blessed” friends of hers who own a very large and nice home in Tallahassee moved and did not want to sell their home. They asked Rhonda to move into the home and take care of it for them. Now, Rhonda is packing and preparing to move into a home that she did not buy, and did not build!! God is pouring out favor on RPT!!!
“Avis and Amon” purchased property in Kenya seven years ago. That property was taken from them and they have been in a four year long court battle trying to get it back. On Monday, January 24th, Avis and Amon received word that the property was theirs again! The enemy had to restore what he had taken from them!!!
It’s Only The Beginning
These testimonies are only the beginning of what God is doing in the lives of His children. Restoration Place is focused on God this year. We are seeking His will and His direction for our lives through prayer, fasting, and worship. He is doing amazing things in our midst. We are EXPLODING in growth!!
Since our launch in May we have grown to over 1600 members!! Our services are so full, we have literally had standing room only and had to ask people to come to our next service because we were over capacity. It’s not because of us…it’s because of God. People are drawn to where the Spirit of God is operating and flowing. RPT has miracles and testimonies of restoration pouring in every week!!
